So excited to share part one of the Charleston Travel Guide featuring the resort where we stayed. I had to break it up into two different posts because the resort was a vacation in itself and I wanted to go into detail about all there is to do! When I was searching for the best hotel for Zac and I to stay, I saw Charleston Harbor Resort and just loved the idea of having a resort style stay in a popular tourist city! It was really nice taking in the Charleston sights and coming back to hear the sound of water outside our hotel room at night! We spent the first day just touring the resort checking out the marina and beach club views! Then we topped it off with a workout at the gym and got a pizza from downtown to come back and just enjoy our lovely room! We stayed at Harborside and it had a wonderful view of the marina! I had the most relaxing mornings drinking coffee on the balcony watching the boats:) The interiors of Harborside and Beach Club are just stunning! It truly inspired my decorating heart! The resort itself has a handful of places you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy drinks by the pool. We had the best breakfast at the Fish House one morning! I highly recommend ordering a cappuccino:) There’s a marina store on the resort that’s the cutest for taking a piece of the resort home with you! I bought the softest beach club tee! There’s a workout facility on property as well as bikes free to resort guests! The hubs and I took a bike stroll one morning to see some of the beach houses and property! Because of Hurrucane Irma, our trip was cut one day short and the way the staff handled questions and requests was just great! It was truly a resort that relaxed and inspired me! I’m so glad we decided to go this route for our Charleston trip! I’ll be sharing part two in the next week about touring Sullivan’s Island and downtown Charleston!
