Hope everyone is enjoying their week! Life has been in full speed mode for me starting to tour new developments and look at home renovations options as well for next year. I am also already planning holiday travel. It’s crazy how fast this time of year flies by! I’m excited to share another great fall look with y’all! Also going to be sharing three tips on pre holiday outfit planning! I am such a fan of skirts and over the knee boots with sweaters. It allows you to feel cozy and polished at the same time! Who doesn’t love that?! The sweater is a oatmeal colored number by JCrew. The skirt is from a boutique in LA. Can we talk about these beautiful cranberry over the knee boots by Marc Fisher?! They are sooo comfy and flat heeled so easy to walk in! They give any outfit a chic vibe! I found these last year on sale. They are a little bit of an investment but worth it! I’m a big believer in splurging on items that are big statement pieces in your closet! They last for years! Now on to my tips for planning ahead with holiday outfits! Whether your traveling or staying in town for Christmas, Thanksgiving or New Years, it’s especially good to be able to quickly pull from ur closet with no stress! I am always in favor of making sure I like my outfit options for parties, festivities and family time. We also travel for both Thanksgiving and Christmas so making sure I have cozy car vibes is necessary… especially traveling with a big Dobermann. As women, we stay so busy either hosting, helping cook and buying gifts. Not to mention spending time wrapping them. The last thing I want to do is overthink my wardrobe this time of year. So here’s my three tips for pre holiday wardrobe prep.
1) Make sure you have a great holiday dress that you can just toss on. Even though u may know your holiday plans, things can change and you never want to say no to a party because you don’t have that party dress!
2) Make sure you have a great pair of leggings and a cozy long cardigan or sweater. This allows you to feel comfortable and yet pulled together no matter if ur lounging around with family or house hopping as we do on holidays.
3) Have a transitional coat! This is soo key with keeping travel packing to a minimal. Right now I’m on the hunt for a good teddy coat or faux fur that you can dress up or wear casual.
I hope these three tips help y’all have a fun fashion filled holiday with no stress! I’ve found them to be quite useful each year and I’m able to enjoy my time more celebrating this wonderful season!
Thanks for stopping by!
